Seahawks Release Dyson, Sharper, & Harden

From Seahawks.com:

The Seattle Seahawks released cornerbacks Andre Dyson and Michael Harden, along with linebacker Jamie Sharper the team announced Thursday afternoon.

Dyson joined the Seahawks as an unrestricted free agent from Tennessee last season and played in 10 games starting five. He finished the season with 21 tackles, an interception, 10 passes defensed, a forced fumble and recovery. His lone interception was returned 72 yards at Philadelphia (12/5) for a touchdown, the same game in which he also returned a fumble 25 yards for a score. He sprained his left ankle on the second touchdown and was inactive the final four weeks of the regular season. Dyson missed weeks six and seven with a right hamstring injury. Dyson played in all three postseason games and started in the NFC Championship Game and Super Bowl.

Sharper also joined the Seahawks as an unrestricted free agent last season. Sharper started the first eight games of the season before being placed on injured reserve after suffering from an infection in his right knee. Sharper totaled 37 tackles and a forced fumble in eight games.

Harden was signed as a free agent for the final four games of the regular season. He played cornerback in all four games and totaled five tackles. He was inactive all three games during the postseason.
