Magic Lose to Clippers 73-90

From Sportsline.com:

Jameer Nelson led Orlando with 18 points -- bettering his 12.3 average -- and DeShawn Stevenson added 13. Tony Battie had 13 rebounds.

Steve Francis was held to 3-for-16 shooting for 10 points, seven below his average.

"I didn't expect us to play that bad," he said. "It was more us turning the ball over, missing shots and getting fouls at times when we really didn't need them."

The Magic committed 18 turnovers to Los Angeles' nine.

"We made more mistakes than they did and they capitalized," Battie said. "Whenever you turn the ball over like that, it gives them more opportunities to score and gives us less opportunities. We didn't do a good job of managing the basketball."

Down by 11 going into the fourth, the Magic got a 3-pointer from Stevenson and a jumper by Hedo Turkoglu to trail 70-64.
