Magic Sign Diener

From the Orlando Journal Sentinel:

The Orlando Magic have signed guard Travis Diener, their second-round pick in the 2005 NBA Draft.
Diener (6-1, 175) was the 38th pick in the draft and played in 120 games during a four-year career at Marquette. He averaged 14.1 points per game, 5.1 assists per game and 3.1 rebounds per game.
Known as a marksman at Marquette, Diener shot 41.3 percent on 3-pointers and made 83.7 percent of his free throws. He finished as Marquette's career leader in 3-pointers made (284), 2nd in assists (617), 3rd in scoring (1,691 points) and 8th in steals (158).
He was named to the All-Conference USA First Team twice (2004 and 2005), the All-Conference USA Second Team once (2003) and to the league's All-Freshman Team (2002). Diener also helped Marquette reach the NCAA Final Four in 2003 on a team that featured Miami Heat all-star guard Dwyane Wade.
During the 2005 Reebok Vegas Summer League, Diener appeared in five games with the Magic, averaging 8.8 ppg, 4.8 rpg and a team-best 4.0 apg in 23 minutes per game. He also shot .538 (7-of-13) from 3-point range and .846 (11-of-13) from the free throw line.
